Eligibility for the Certification Track depends on whether or not you have completed a graduate program from an accredited university in a mental health related field and have licensure to practice.
Coursework for the graduate degree must include psychological assessment and psychopathology (training to treat comorbidities such as PTSD, mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, DV). Disciplines such as coaching, mediation, family life education, child development, and pastoral care typically do not meet the requirements for eligibility.
Certain degrees' eligibility are state dependent. Please contact your local licensing board to ensure your degree is accepted to receive a license.
